Buy a New Car, modified, with Warranty and even finance!

To meet your needs, MRT have extended their Factory Warranty Guarantee option even further!

MRT Warranty
MRT Warranty with any car

History

In the past if you wanted to buy a new (or used) car with mods, you were restricted to having to buy genuine parts from the car dealer with absolutely no alternative choice of supplier!

If you wanted improved suspension, or a MRT power kit, or window tint, only some dealers would rarely help, and the rest would force you to buy the car from them with their parts or make you take it elsewhere to get the improvements you wanted.

This resulted in messy finance, potential warranty hassles and limited options!

Solution

Now you can have your cake and eat it as well!

Simply choose the (new or used) car you want to own, come to MRT, choose a performance upgrade package, and we will do the rest!

  • MRT will liaise with your car dealer OR find a better deal and then negotiate on your behalf! Due to our links with local car dealers, we can get you a cheaper price for you new car!
  • We will give you a factory Warranty Guarantee on your car, with the EXACTLY THE SAME BENEFITS you get from the dealer.
  • The warranty will cover the parts you choose (with help from MRT), even if they are genuine or non genuine!
  • Finally you get to control what you want on the car you want!

Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart is finally here

Sources: Mitsubishi Australia and News.com.au

Mitsubishi RalliartMitsubishi has bridged the gap, both performance and pricewise, between the basic Lancer and the high-performance Lancer EVO X with the Ralliart.

Launched last week in Orange, NSW, the Lancer Ralliart is basically a hot version of the Lancer VRX but without the "hard" edges of the EVO and without the EVO's $60,000 price tag. The Ralliart comes in sedan or sportback and sells for a recommended $42,490. The 2.4-litre VRX Lancer sells for $30,490.

The Lancer Ralliart is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 177kW at 6000rpm and 343Nm of torque from 2500-4750rpm. The power gets to all four wheels through a Twin Clutch Sport Shift Transmission (an automated manual gearbox) and a front limited slip diff, active central diff and a rear mechanical limited slip diff, all computer controlled to offer maximum traction under all conditions.

The Ralliart uses parts from the VRX and EVO models but is basically a VRX with an EVO bonnet.

Subaru 2009 MY09 WRX gets a thumping 195kw!

Subaru MY09 WRX with 195kw

When the bug-eye WRX was launched by Subaru in 2000, there was a hushed silence and it was widely decreed by the press after a few test drives that whilst the new model was a nicer drive, more refined and had much improved handling, it had lost the spark and thrill of the outgoing MY00 "classic" model. In short, some thought that Subaru was losing the plot somewhat. The facelifted MY03 and new 2.5L MY06 showed that Subaru was listening.

Then came the MY08 WRX and the press reviews were even less inspiring that those about 'ole bug-eye. Recently coming last in its category in the 2008 Motor BFYB competition, the MY08 WRX was even declared by some to be unworthy of the WRX name. Subaru wasn't losing the plot, it had lost the plot.

Today, at Sydney's Motor Show, Subaru have once again shown they were listening with the announcement of the revamped 2009 MY09 WRX. There have been rumours for a few weeks, and last week we got inside knowledge that the MY09 was going to get a serious dose of steroids, and now here it is. Get this - 195kw (up 26kw), 343Nm of torque (up 23Nm), upgraded suspension, and wider tyres (225/45x17, versus 205/50) all point to a much more serious WRX. Indeed, the MY09 WRX has as much power as the MY02-05 STi, and is lighter too! We can't wait to get our hands on it.
