Due to many requests by clients and success of "private" testing clinics, we run regular days (every two months) to allow people attend a structured day with "support".

Benefit to you:

Share ideas with fellow enthusiasts
no "limits", you choose the speed and the way you drive!

Be confident in the expert support and advice that will help you if and when you need it!

The aim of the day (you choose!!) will be:

Improve your driving skills
Learn the finer points of driving your car
Have someone else drive your car whilst you watch, as a passenger.
Learn more about your cars strengths (and weakness's)
We will assist you on the day in tuning, testing, adjusting your cars, suspension, engine, etc
we will have data logging equipment and specialist gear with us
Understand how to drive the track correctly
We can ride with you to teach you
We can assist in lap timing
Have fun!

"You won't come to a MRT track day and find 100's of cars and huge queues to get onto the track. Our days are "family" orientated where you will feel part of the team of people who attend and be comfortable to get involved" Brett Middleton MRT Performance.

The big aim is to have UNLIMITED TRACK TIME
Limited cars on track at any time of FIVE
Limited cars on the day to 40

What we want to do is assist you in DOING WHAT YOU WANT. If that means, travelling as a passenger in your car, or watching how you drive through a corner, or even assisting with "setting up" your car, we will do that.

PRE EVENT
MRT holds a "pre event" tech nite the Wednesday fortnight prior to the track day, this is for 2 hours and is free to track day members. The evening is to assist people in relaxing prior to the track day and making sure they know what to expect and how to get the most from the day. Trade people will be present to answer tech questions and your car can have a Free inspection on the night to ensure its ready for your big day!
Non members are welcome to attend at a small cost.

HOW MANY LAPS CAN YOU DO?
Most club / CAMS arranged speed events or arranged track days are based on a cost of $150 - $200, and with this you can only do about 15 - 20 laps, plus you cant have passengers, the MRT organized day, allows unlimited track time, if you wish you can do over 100 laps!

CATERING
Morning tea and lunch are included.

PHOTOS
You will receive a complimentary CD of hundreds of photos of the day including you. This will be posted to you within 2 weeks of the track day.

ON THE DAY
Track opens at 9am however we do a track walk at 8.30 and then a drivers briefing at 9 followed by a short tech session to prepare you. Newbie's can then attend a special tech session for a further 30 minutes to allow you better understanding of the track and your car.
The track is closed for 20 mins at morning tea, so everyone can swap ideas over a cold drink or cappuccino whilst enjoying some local cakes and pastries.
Lunch is at 1 pm for an hour and the track is again closed so everyone can enjoy time together and "network" and chat!

MECHANICAL SUPPORT
We will have staff and mechanics at the track to assist where possible. (You will still have to do work yourself) such as change tyres, if needed and re fuel your car, but you can relax knowing that trained staff are on site should you need specialist work

LOCATION
The venue we use is Wakefield park race track

SAFETY
Wakefield is very open and a fun / easy track to attend.

MOTOR RACING IS DANGEROUS
We (and you) must acknowledge that Motorsport is dangerous and, MRT and its staff make no Guarantee that attending this "event" is safe. You may damage your car, crash, or risk personal injury

REQUIREMENTS
Your car must be road registered, OR safe and able to pass a safety inspection. If at the discretion of MRT and or its staff it is determined that your car is unsuitable for the use of the day, you will be refunded in full (less a admin cost of $50)

EQUIPMENT
You will need to:

Wear a crash helmet (helmets can be also hired at the track (if available)
Wear full length clothing from neck to wrist to ankle, as well as it must be non flammable and suitable shoes must be worn.

OPTIONS
These are not compulsory, but where possible you should consider it:

In car fire extinguisher
Full harness seat belts
Safety additional bonnet latch etc

To secure your day, please book now, full payment is required and NUMBERS ARE LIMITED. We will not allow more than 40 cars per day and maximum number of cars on the track at any time is 5.

A second driver per car is allowed and this is offered at a reduced rate. If you wish to bring a non driving, (non track passenger), person they can attend.
