Jim Stewart's GTP car.
Built in late 2000 nad based on the Australian supplied Impreza STi WRX, this car is quick! The following mods give it healthy grunt. New Link ECU, DMS suspension, Sti Mechanical front differential and HD Viscous centre diff. Link knock display kit and a heap of special mods to make it competitive.

Andrew's car
I took my MY05 wagon to WSID on Wednesday night for the street meet. It has the MRT 3" exhaust with the oval muffler and cat in the up pipe, ECUTEK 1.5 tune, 500hp fuel pump (from the XB kit) but as yet is still running the standard air filter. (So not the full XB kit yet!) With the spare tyre out and a tank full of BP ultimate plus 104+ octane boost it ran a 13.73@160km/h (99.55mph), that was with an air temp of 32°C. Can't wait to get the CAI and the pod filter on and go back on a cold night (with a little more experience now between the steering wheel and the front seat!) I must say I was really impressed with this time, especially on a very hot night. Still not as quick as my old RX2 but we are far from finished yet!

The car is now fitted with the Jap spec 2000cc V6 MIVEC engine and runs LinkPlus engine management. With Corvette twin piston calipers and 33mm slotted rotors at the front, and EVO IV rear brakes it has the stopping power to match. 17 inch Momo wheels, Koni adjustable shocks, lowered Kings springs and Whiteline rear swaybar kit it also handles somewhat better than the standard car!

Have Dog cut gearbox, special ecu, front and rear LSD, center viscous or EMCD, depending of the event, big 330 mm 6 pistons AP racing brakes.
049_TonyPeterTony Peter has an incredibly active Motorsport appetite, 35 events in one year as a example. Through a relationship established by MRT with their reseller in Melbourne, Amberley Auto, the car has a reliable service schedule and ongoing development program. Certainly one of the most consistent and fastest Impreza's in Victoria, maybe Australia! Click here for more information
Click here to see the results of BMW Car Club Championship Round 3 held at Sandown Racecourse on Sunday 15th August. Have a look at who took out 1st place. This is a testament to the car and of course the driver. The BMW drivers were keen to find out what was under the bonnet. Note by Brett this was prior to a major suspension upgrade done to the car later in the year.

Mateusz Pułczyński
I just wanted to say that I am using MRT parts on my 1999 Impreza Turbo in Poland, and I am really happy with the quality of the parts and the
performance gains. So far I have done the following:
  • STI EJ207 short block
  • STI/IHI VF23 turbo
  • 2,5" uppipe and exhaust
  • MRT top mount intercooler
  • Go Fast Bits pulley set
  • Go Fast Bits Hybrid blow-off
  • Ecutek remap
  • AP Racing organic clutch
  • STI heavy duty engine and gearbox mounts
  • Samco hoses
  • Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
  • Whiteline swaybars, front and rear
  • Whiteline Strut braces 4point lower and upper rear
  • Eibach springs
  • KYB dampers
  • Greddy guages
  • OMP 6-point roll cage
  • Sparco steering wheel
There are a few other bits that I might have forgotten about, I've been working on the car for over two years, and I am finally satisfied with the performance, I got it dyno'ed at 0,9 bar, before the Ecutek, and I got 250 hp at the crank. Currently I am running 1.3 bar after the Ecutek remap, I haven't been back to the dyno, but the car really hauls ass !! Anyway thanks for all the cool products, and keep up the good work.
