"I recently picked up my 02 STi and was disappointed to find that the factory fitted water spray is manually operated. I started looking around for automatic options, and came across the MRT solution. It is not the cheapest unit on the market, however it has more features than it's rivals that more than justifies the additional cost.

It has a built-in MAP sensor, so there is no cutting into the factory systems to read boost. It has a digital boost gauge built in, which has saved me spending extra $$$ on a separate one. The readout also shows post-IC temps, so you can see how well the water spray and your IC is working. Configuration of the boost level, post-IC temp and run-on time is quick and easy. With the addition of the genuine STi auto spray switch it looks like a factory fit.

The kit actually comes with two temperature probes. One can be tapped into the inlet manifold and another that can be fitted into the intercooler fins or under the pipe out of the IC. I went with the tapped-in version as it isn't as easy to damage when you are fiddling around with the IC.

I'm very pleased with mine and would recommend it to anyone."
