"Performance is really good compared to
a standard STi..... compared with a standard car its much more user friendly and
driveable." - Rick Bates testing P25 against stock MY05 STi
And its a lot faster too! Rick Bates, (prominent Australian race and test
driver) tested P25 at Wakefield Park recently and we compared the performance
against a similar test of a stock 05 STi conducted by Motor Magazine earlier in
the year. In both cases Rick was the driver and detailed data logs were compared
for both sessions.
Highlights
P-25 does a best lap time of 1:07.75 (optional tyres) compared with a standard
MY05 STi best time of 1:10.12.
On stock tyres (Potenza), P25 laps in 1:07.82.
Maximum sustainable lateral G's of 1.0 for P25 up from 0.92 for stock STi.
P25 achieved peak lateral G of 1.24 vs 1.16 or stock STi
Rick Bates says "Compared with a standard car its much more user friendly and
driveable."

Based on the STi Subaru Impreza, Whiteline have released an upgrade that is set
to make a real impact, not only on the Subaru performance scene but also higher
value cars such as Porsche, BMW and such.
In partnership with performance specialists MRT, this car offers the complete
package. We wanted to make something that was true to our cause, that is to
create something that is reliable and comfortable midweek, whilst still being
extremely potent for the weekend.
Similar to the Litchfield 'Type 25' produced in the UK which is based on the
more costly (and higher spec) "Type C" Japanese limited model, this has many
similar products to the P-25, such as EcuTeK reflashed factory ECU, Whiteline
enhanced suspension, body kit improvements and more, but what we wanted was to
offer a locally produced model that is actually better. Our aim is to produce a
package that is far superior to the factory delivered models, in both
reliability, power and torque whilst providing Porsche beating performance. By
all accounts, the P-25 has achieved just that.
