The MRT Spotlight Kit for Subaru Impreza and Liberty / Legacy with round spot lamps.

It will come as no surprise to WRX owners that the standard headlights are not up to the performance of the car. Changing globes (bulbs) can help, but for a complete fix, the MRT Spotlight Kit is just the ticket.

While the standard WRX foglights are an integral part of the WRX’s rally image, they are about as much use as a hurricane lamp for actually seeing where you are going. With the MRT kit you can retain the proper rally ‘look’ while putting something useful in front of you for night driving.

The MRT Spotlight kit consists of two Cibie driving lights, each with a 100w Halogen globe. The Cibie light is unique, it has no diffuser in the glass, all the light is directed by the vacuum moulded "complex" rear reflector, ensuring all light is used. Other cheaper brands rely on diffusers in the glass to control the lamp pattern, effectively reducing the bulbs intensity. The lights come complete with a steel mounting kit that makes them a direct, bolt in replacement for the standard fog lights. You have to look quite closely to see the difference from standard… in the daytime!

As part of our constant efforts to improve our products, MRT has recently completely re-vamped the Spotlight Kit. The new kit has these important improvements:
Dedicated wiring loom with relay and fuse. Will not burn out with Cibie halogen globes provided, or your money back!
New loom provides an option for spotlights to be switched into the headlight full beam circuit via the standard foglight switch on the dash. When switched on, the spotlights will come on with the headlight full beams, and off when the headlights are dipped.
Specially fabricated mounting brackets allow the Cibie spotlights to bolt directly into the standard foglight mounting points. No drilling required!
The kit comes complete with all parts, even wires, relay, crimps, relay mount and step by step directions, or MRT can install it if you prefer.
